![]() Overpass CS GO Callouts – A Site to Playground.Playing these stances and angles will become second nature to you over time. On A Long, you can see how CTs can set up multiple perimeters and how the region near Bathrooms is a fantastic place to keep both Party and Connector in check. However, the three rotation points can already be seen at the CT, Connector, and T Tunnels. The flat image conceals that B and A Sites are significantly different in elevation. Take a look at this CS:GO Overpass Callouts map. Now that we’ve established the map’s distinct qualities, we’ll move on to the actual layout. It’s always a good idea to put a terrorist in there to catch the CTs off guard, especially if the round is late and the bomb has already been planted. This enables them to disable all rotations that CT Spawn doesn’t control. They can enter by B Short, Mid, or their entrance near T Spawn. Terrorists will have little trouble gaining control of it. The Connector, on the other hand, is a more difficult area. This is merely difficult to perform on Overpass, making rotations more straightforward. On Dust 2, the T side can take control of the Lower Mid without breaching any areas. So the CT Spawn is your best bet, as it is handily protected from terrorists. You may, of course, rotate with the T Spawn, but this will take a long time. They’re near one another and act as a sort of parallel walkway. Players will use Tunnels and A Short if these avenues are closed off. ![]() The passage between CT and B, for example, is critical for rotations in Dust 2. Rotations on OverpassĪnother crucial factor to think about is how rotations function. Of course, teams will try to push or rush on Dust 2, Mirage, and other CS:GO maps, but on the Overpass CS:GO map, this is practically a prerequisite for a successful defense. ![]() This style of play is unlike anything we’ve seen on popular CS:GO maps in the past. It would help if you strategically pushed particular places as a Counter-Terrorist to break the terrorists early on. As a terrorist, you must anticipate CTs’ organized early rushes. So that’s something you’ll have to adjust to right away. Some people might give up and protect A’s exit from the bathroom area. Some CTs will push in and actively defend it, while others will be higher up and defend Mid using the angles within Connector. The same may be said for the Connector section. They might try to protect A Long from Cafe, or they might push you to the tree or the rock, where you’ll find yourself in a much closer fight than you expected. While you can typically count on CTs to be set up on Dust 2’s A Long or in A Long Pit, the defenders on Overpass can be unpredictable. As each side begins to make forays into what could be enemy territory, the combat lines become less prominent. However, a combat line is usually created early on. The Counter-Terrorists will take over the Sites, Lower Mid, Catwalk, and A Short.ĭepending on spawn locations and strategies, some teams may strive to take early A Long control on the offensive or early B Tunnels control on defense. Terrorists usually use the B Tunnels, Upper Mid, and A Long Doors. Most rounds in Dust 2 will begin with both CT and T players establishing a perimeter. The most significant distinction, however, is inherent in gameplay characteristics. Although it isn’t as layered as Nuke or Vertigo, it still demands vertical thinking. Sure, some portions are taller than others, such as T Spawn and CT Spawn, but other than A Short, no map element is placed on top of another. So, what makes the map unique? For starters, Dust 2 has a planar layout. So, to understand how to play Overpass CS:GO, we’ll walk you through the map’s most fundamental features. While a new player may quickly pick up on the principles of a more precise map, Overpass may be more difficult to master. Others, such as the Overpass CS:GO map, are far more intricate and multi-layered. Some, like Dust 2, have a more straightforward design that has been proven and accurate for over two decades. Counter-Strike has had hundreds of different maps throughout its long history.
